Trares - International cuisine restaurant in Frankfurt
The Trares is the new restaurant of Chris Crell, a young creative Frankfurt chef, who gained considerable fame and reputation with his small "Crell Cuisine" in the Gauss Strasse 4.
The Trares is a relaxed bistro, a gourmet restaurant and a bar all in one.
In warmer months a wonderful terrace invites to dine al fresco overlooking a charming quiet street in Frankfurt's Nordend district. The location is ideally situated for trade fair participants and visitors since it is reachable in a 7 minutes direct metro ride from the fair grounds (Messe) - pop into the U4 at Messe and jump off at Merianplatz .... a door to door affair.
Cuisine offered is international, a little Mediterranean a little German new cuisine all with prime quality market fresh products. A small a la carte menu is used for the more casual bistro area and in the more refined rear part of the restaurant from Thursdays to Saturdays - or by arrangement - more sophisticated multi course menus are served. The rear part of the restaurant can also be booked for private groups of ideally 20 to 25 persons.
A small selection of hand-picked wines of German and French origin are offered also by the glass.
A full cocktail bar and barman is available for both before and after dinner drinks.
