Bombay Palace - Indian restaurant in Frankfurt
The Bombay Palace was one of the first Indian restaurants to open in Frankfurt. It is located close to the old-Sachsenhausen amusement area and is very popular with locals but also a favourite of visiting Indian business people for its authentic Indian cuisine, meticulously prepared with the freshest of herbs and the finest of spices.
The interior of this Indian restaurant is traditional elegant and the warm and friendly atmosphere provides for a comfortable dining experience. Both the food and the service is stupendous and leaves no wishes unattended. The Bombay Palace has chosen to serve the best of what each region has to offer - Lamb Vindaloo from South India, Rogan Josh a Kashmir speciality, a typical Punjab chicken curry or a Goese prawn curry. Not to mention the extensive and varied Tandoor menu. And vegetarians will find it a paradise.
The dishes are wonderfully presented and a lunch menu is also available at very attractive prices. The wine list, mainly of German and French origin, small but fine, among others a Montracher and a Meursault. The beer served is also one of the finest in Germany - Dortmunder Union.
