Clubs & Discos

Over the past 20 years, Frankfurt has especially been a scene for techno and house clubs, with Sven Väths legendary Omen and later Cocoon or the airport based techno temple Dorian Gray. Selected venues for soul and hip hop have also always existed, and some of the most traditional and immortal spots always belonged to the alternative crowd. Many famous traditional Frankfurt clubs are history: Omen and Dorian Gray died with the big techno boom a long time ago, and more recently Cocoon, Living, Monza, U60311, Sinkkasten, O25, King Kamehameha followed - all gone. But some long-established locations are still there and with some we are convinced they always will, and several intersting new clubs have emerged in recent years, such as Velvet and Gibson.
